One-Piece Clamp-On Shaft Collars
Collars grip evenly around the entire shaft without marring, allowing greater clamping force than set screw collars. Tighten the socket-head cap screw to secure. Cap screws are alloy steel, except for the stainless steel, chrome-plated steel, and plastic shaft collars, which have 18-8 stainless cap screws.
Black-Oxide Steel—Made of grade 1215 steel, unless noted. Black-oxide finish offers some corrosion resistance.
Zinc-Plated Steel—Same clamping force as black-oxide steel but with better corrosion resistance.
Stainless Steel—Choose Type 303 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance. For superior corrosion and chemical resistance, choose Type 316 stainless steel.
Aluminum—Lightweight with good corrosion resistance.
Chrome-Plated Steel—Have the strength and corrosion resistance of zinc-plated steel with a bright finish.
Nylon 6/6 and Delrin® Acetal Resin—Offer good chemical resistance and are suitable for washdown applications.
