Hexagonal-Bore Clamp-On Shaft Collars
Just what you need for hexagon-shaped shafts. These nonmarring collars have high holding power, a round outside diameter, and recessed screw heads. Simply tighten the socket-head cap screw(s) to secure. These collars can also be modified to act as a mount for other components.
One-piece collars have one cap screw. If you frequently move collars along shafts, see shaft collar handles.
Two-piece collars are a good choice when you don't have easy access to the end of the shaft. They have two cap screws.
Black-Oxide Steel—Collars are grade 12L14 and have a black-oxide finish, which offers some corrosion resistance. Cap screws are alloy steel.
Type 303 Stainless Steel—Collars are Type 303 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance. Cap screws are 18-8 stainless steel.
